2026 Fixtures | What do we know

After a brilliant 2025 Betfred Super League season, there is plenty more to look forward to in 2026!

Thursday (27 November) sees the official release of the 2026 fixture schedule, so let’s take a quick look at what we know so far and what we can expect to find out later this week…

What do we already know?

We know that the new season will kick off in February and conclude with the Betfred Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford on Saturday 3 October. Grab your Final early bird tickets here!

We also know that 14 teams will play 27 rounds in the regular season – 13 home games, 13 away games, as well as the highly anticipated Magic Weekend at a new home, Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool.

The Summer Festival of Rugby League heads to Everton’s new state-of-the-art facilities for the very first time, providing the perfect venue for one of Rugby League’s most beloved concepts.

This autumn, Rugby League also became the first non-football event to take place at Everton’s new ground for the ABK Beer Ashes Series, quickly proving popular among our fans.

And for Magic WKND (Round 17), we will be taking rivalries on the road with Super League’s fiercest clashes taking place over two days.

But before our iconic Magic event takes place, we have a fantastic February in store.

The Betfred World Club Challenge is back on English soil for a second year running, with Super League Champions Hull KR set to host NRL Premiers Brisbane Broncos in a ‘Clash of the Champions’ at the MKM Stadium in Hull (19 February).

This cross-hemisphere showdown will be the first-ever World Club Challenge fixture hosted in Hull, as the Robins and Broncos battle it out to be crowned the world’s best Rugby League club side.

And the event is officially SOLD OUT. 24,600 spectators will be there to witness the world’s best talent on show, in what has been the fastest selling World Club Challenge ever! If you haven’t got a ticket, your only way to watch the game live is on Sky Sports.

We also know that Hull KR will then meet Leeds Rhinos in Las Vegas the following weekend (28 February), as the Betfred Super League - alongside the NRL - returns to Allegiant Stadium as part of the Rugby League in Las Vegas.

The Robins and Rhinos will follow in Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves’ footsteps in the Entertainment Capital of the World – and it’s a busy month for the 2025 treble-winners, who have agreed to switch their home fixture against the Rhinos to feature at the showcase event.

Super League's representatives will be joined by four of the NRL's big-hitters in Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Newcastle Knights, St George Illawarra Dragons and North Queensland Cowboys!

All three matches will be broadcast live on Sky Sports, as a glimpse of Super League is once again set to be showcased in a dazzling Vegas.

Then, the Betfred Super League will return to where it all began in 2026 as Catalans Dragons will celebrate their 20th anniversary of competing in the competition by taking a game to the French capital, Paris.

The Dragons will host Wigan Warriors on Saturday 6 June at the Stade Jean Bouin - the home of Stade Français and Paris FC.

This follows the two sides relocating their 2019 meeting to Barcelona FC’s Camp Nou where a regular season Super League record was set with 31,555 supporters in attendance.
